Scrap Haven

I submitted my resignation letter to my supervisors last Friday. It was a hard decision for me to make but one that I had to do. It would have been 2 years that I have been working for the Courts next month. I’m a little sad but at the same time I’m looking forward to my new job which starts on May 9. People who know that I resigned from my job at the County are a little shocked that I’m leaving. I know the benefits are quite substantial and there is that so-called job security. I just think that right now I need to be doing something else. I’m still looking for my niche in this world. I’m young and we only have one life to live. And so goes the song from one of my daughter’s favorite Disney movies…"it’s the time of your life so live it well." That’s just what I’m doing.
